Dear All,
On behalf of the Knights, I want to thank you again for your effort in
making tonight's Altar Server Appreciation Dinner such a rousing
success:
Bro. Kevin Gaffney, our chairman, for working so tirelessly;
Bro. Frank Casalino, the cook, for manning the kitchen;
Bro. Bruno Zani, DGK - who was Kevin's 'setup man';
Monsignor Franco for allowing us to use the cafeteria;
Fr. Ed Byrne, Fr. Stephen, Deacon Steve, our chaplain Fr. Praxid and, of
course, his majesty Fr. Dunn for their prayers, support and
encouragement;
Bros. Steve Shine and Joe Ramos for picking up the slack at their
respective churches;
The 4th Degree Color Guard for their chivalry and honor led by Commander
Rich DeSilva and Faithful Navigator Jim Tornello;
Bro. Charlie Sacco of Port Chester for the idea to honor the altar
servers;
Mrs. Andrea Barbuto, my wife, Renee and Bros. John Premus, Joe Garcia,
John Mark, Tony Sikorsky and John Connolly for their helping hands.
Bro. Rich Barbuto for leading us in song at the church.
